Laundry Day T-shirt

I recall laundry day at collage was the opportunity to check out the co-ed's undies. Tip don't display your sloppiness in front of the ladies or your skid marks.

The Grape Juice Records Five-Year Anniversary T-Shirt Contest is nearing its startling conclusion. The last week of voting is upon us! Place your vote on alwaysurban.com before the deadline on Monday August 17th. Designers Blake Suarez, Kevin Osborn, Kevin Haugh, Amanda Lauren are in the top 4 spots right now, but its still anyone's contest.

The final outcome will remain a mystery until the Grape Juice Records Five-Year Anniversary on September 3rd at Double Door in Chicago. Anticipation for the show is getting fevered. It even got a mention on NBC Chicago this week when a blogger cried foul at Duffy from Food Network's Ace of Cakes for producing a free cake for the Anniversary Party.

Tickets for the Anniversary Party are available now from Ticketmaster, and at the dirt cheap price of $6, you can be sure they'll sell out way in advance of the show.

The line up has been expanded too! The Minneapolis based roots-bluegrass outfit A Night in The Box is now slated to perform.

howies 'Do Lectures' offer a prize to take you to loompaland

howies present the second annual series of ‘Do Lectures’ hosted at Cardigan Bay, West Wales on the 3rd to the 7th of September 2009. To celebrate this year’s lectures, howies have commissioned a commemorative T-shirt equally as bright and positive as the event. Inspired by Welsh author Roald Dahl’s children’s classic ‘Charlie and the Chocolate factory’, howies have sewn a valuable golden ticket inside one ‘Do Lectures’ T-shirt. This means that one lucky Charlie Bucket will receive a prize event ticket, valued at £1000; with their 'Do Lecture' T-shirt. So be lucky.

The T-shirts are sold at £15 which means they are sold at no profit. The ‘Do Lectures’ logo has been printed on howies ethically sourced and 100% organic cotton T-shirts with a back print listing the 2009 events inspirational speakers. T-shirts are available to purchase from www.howies.co.uk.
